THE AFTERMATH- Presented in Fall 2013 at my senior show and in September-October 2016 at my solo show Her Little Machines.
In The Aftermath, everything hums with silent energy. Even with the passage of time energy does not diminish, it only alters. Viewed together, these images read as a progression from some initial state of The Aftermath; the progression chronicled via snapshot images of what is current: day 3, day 23, day 1003, etc. Alluding to some apocalyptic event and the time and space that follows, these images speak in equal measure to death and birth, finality and eternity.
